Job Description / Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives
- Create and manage the development of all content, including high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, survey reports, and web copies
- Manage the content development process from concept to delivery, including writing, editing, and proofreading
- Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company’s tone and mission. Focus on writing clear, concise, well-polished copies
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that all content is accurate, user-friendly, and effective
- Edit content produced by your team, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects, and overseeing the development and copy-editing before publishing
- Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, Uber Suggest, and social media analytics tools
- Build and maintain editorial calendar and written guidelines
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to build a more effective editorial calendar
- Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our product’s core benefits properly and consistently
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content development and apply that knowledge to the company’s content strategy
- Interact with other content specialists and internal team members to create and review all content & ensure a consistent message
- Educate the organization to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution methods
- Manage a team of content writers
- Management of all creative resources including designer and illustrator
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6+ years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance, fintech (Will be an added advantage)
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with content management systems, search engine optimization, and analytics
- Strong communication skills
- Experience managing a team of content developers
- Experience/consistent performance in a deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and the volume of work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities
- Clear, effective communicator- verbally and in writing with the ability to be persuasive
- Ability to analyze and present content and social media performance
- Demonstrated ability to work productively with peers in a cross-functional capacity
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong project management skills and ability to multitask
- Results-oriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure.
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
- Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy and channels
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related discipline
Minimum Experience: 6 years
