Content Marketing Manager

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives
  • Create and manage the development of all content, including high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, survey reports, and web copies
  • Manage the content development process from concept to delivery, including writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company’s tone and mission. Focus on writing clear, concise, well-polished copies
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that all content is accurate, user-friendly, and effective
  • Edit content produced by your team, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects, and overseeing the development and copy-editing before publishing
  • Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, Uber Suggest, and social media analytics tools
  • Build and maintain editorial calendar and written guidelines
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to build a more effective editorial calendar
  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our product’s core benefits properly and consistently
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content development and apply that knowledge to the company’s content strategy
  • Interact with other content specialists and internal team members to create and review all content & ensure a consistent message
  • Educate the organization to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution methods
  • Manage a team of content writers
  • Management of all creative resources including designer and illustrator

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 6+ years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance, fintech (Will be an added advantage)
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Familiarity with content management systems, search engine optimization, and analytics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience managing a team of content developers
  • Experience/consistent performance in a deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and the volume of work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities
  • Clear, effective communicator- verbally and in writing with the ability to be persuasive
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social media performance
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with peers in a cross-functional capacity
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Results-oriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure.
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy and channels


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related discipline
